Our mission is to empower our community by raising awareness about domestic violence, offering hope to victims that they can break free from abusive relationships.
OUR VISION
The Queens of Domestic Violence Awareness believe that every person has the right to be safe, empowered, and free from violence and the fear of violence. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we aim to break the cycle and promote healthy relationship for all.
OUR GOAL
One of our main goals, in addition to continuing to aid victims of abuse, is to open our own transitional/safe house.
Queens of DVA we are a 501c3 Non-profit organization that was founded in 2019. It was designed to empower survivors and show them that they are not alone.
We partner with groups within the community to better adapt assistance to specific victims seeking help.
We are passionate about helping our community. Because every step in the right direction matters, we meet victims where they are. The Queens are here to serve and reduce domestic violence.
Over the years, we have accomplished many important milestones in our mission to support DV victims including expanding our services and increasing accessibility to other resources.
We understand that domestic violence knows no schedule, which is why our 24-Hour emergency line stands ready to provide guidance, safety planning, with a 1 to 3 night of safe stay with a case number. and compassionate listening at any time of day or night.
Our 12-week free group counseling and relocation program offers survivors of domestic violence a comprehensive and supportive pathway toward healing and independence.
We passionately engage in public speaking events— reaching out to diverse audiences including youth organizations, churches and detention centers to shed light on the critical issues surrounding domestic violence.
Join us for the 5th Annual Black-Tie Fundraiser Gala hosted by Queens of Domestic Violence Awareness, an evening of elegance dedicated to a noble cause. Enjoy live music by Jah
