Our mission is to empower our community by raising awareness about domestic violence, offering hope to victims that they can break free from abusive relationships.
OUR VISION
The Queens of Domestic Violence Awareness believe that every person has the right to be safe, empowered, and free from violence and the fear of violence. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we aim to break the cycle and promote healthy relationship for all.
OUR GOAL
One of our main goals, in addition to continuing to aid victims of abuse, is to open our own transitional/safe house.
Queens of DVA we are a 501c3 Non-profit organization that was founded in 2019. It was designed to empower survivors and show them that they are not alone.
We partner with groups within the community to better adapt assistance to specific victims seeking help.
We are passionate about helping our community. Because every step in the right direction matters, we meet victims where they are. The Queens are here to serve and reduce domestic violence.
Over the years, we have accomplished many important milestones in our mission to support DV victims including expanding our services and increasing accessibility to other resources.

We recognize that domestic violence can occur at any time, which is why our 24-hour emergency hotline is available to offer guidance and safety planning. Our 8-week free Support group sponsored by Junior League of Sarasota, counseling empowers survivors of domestic abuse with a transformative and supportive pathway toward healing and independence.
In partnership with Samaritan Counseling services of the Gulf Coast, participants also have referral access to individual counseling for ongoing care.

We passionately engage in public speaking events— reaching out to diverse audiences including youth organizations, churches and detention centers to shed light on the critical issues surrounding domestic violence.

We are seeking support for our year-end fundraiser, aimed at helping us with our vision: to purchase a home for survivors of domestic violence. Your contributions will enable these individuals to have a safe place to call home, fostering independence and freedom from abuse. Thank you for your support in this vital cause.

Join us for the "Queens: All Shades of Purple" Gala, presented by Queens of Domestic Violence Awareness, Inc. Enjoy an elegant evening of dinner and dancing, featuring saxophonist Marlon Boon. All for a great cause. This event supports our mission to assist victims and children facing emergency situations due to domestic violence.
The evening will include a 50/50 give away and a silent auction, along with a cash bar, cocktail starting at 6:30 PM. The event will officially begin at 7:00 PM.
